Enable or Disable  to USB Drives through registry

Enable or Disable  to USB Drives through registry in Windows

Guys, I am back with a new cool trick.

Sometimes we do not want that nobody can take our data in his USB or pen drive from our PC or laptop but we can not ask him to do so. Then what should we do?

I have got solution for the same. Just follow some steps stated below and your usb ports shall be disabled until you enable it again.

1. Open Run Box (Window logo+R).

2. Type "regedit" and hit enter this will open Registry Editor.

Registry Editor
3. Now go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\USBSTOR from left side of the Registry Editor.

4. Now, select Start open by double clicking on it a window sill open and change this value to 4.
Editing in Registry Editor
This will disable USB drivw and if want to enable it again then change again this value to its original value i.e. 3

So, In this way you may enable or disable USB or pen drives.
